Before
you contact us for service on your Gill watch, please note that
there are two batteries in the watch, one for the analog hands,
and one for the digital functions. Many times problems with
a watch not running are due to failure of one of the batteries.
The watch warranty does not cover batteries, so it may be best to
seek the help of a local repair shop to replace your batteries first.
To preserve the battery life, switch off the count down timer when
not in use.
After
setting the analog portion of the watch, be sure the crown is screwed
down completely prior to exposure to moisture. Failure to
do this could cause the watch to become wet inside and stop working.
This will also void the warranty.
