Gill is proud to support Austin Sperry and his involvement with the US Olympic Team. Winner of the 2007 US Olympic Trials, Austin Sperry will represent the US in the Beijing Summer Olympics on August 2008 in the Star Class, with Skipper John Dane.

A California native, Austin developed his talent and passion for sailing at a young age, while sailing with his father on the San Francisco Bay. Throughout his career, Austin competed in numerous large-scale events such as the Bacardi Cup, Star Worlds, Grand Masters and many more. Austin continues his career as a world-class sailor, and now, endeavors to win the Gold in the 2008 Summer Olympics. Austin is coached by Steve Erickson (Star Gold, USA ’84), Rodney Hagebols and Hans Wallen (Star Silver, Sweden ’96).
