The new Gill Pro Dinghy Top has been designed to give the best combination of protection and ease of movement for the competitive dinghy sailor. After a full two years in development, Gill has again created the ultimate in a performance dinghy top available in the market today.

The Gill Pro Top is designed for unrestricted movement and incredible waterproof protection for performance sailing. Its protective design is enhanced by adjustable PU collar and cuffs, a non-lift neoprene waistband and front zip neck closure for cooling ventilation. A non-intrusive zipped pocket is located towards the back for your essentials. Made from a Highly breathable 2 Dot™ laminated fabric, the Pro Top is waterproof, windproof, lightweight and flexible.

Gill has also developed a unique protective neck closure on the Pro Top with a center opening zip with Velcro adjustments on either side that only need to be adjusted once, resulting in the perfect seal and comfort for each individual sailors need.

  • Fully taped seams, a PU collar and cuffs to prevent water intrusion
  •  An ultra soft chin flap to avoid skin abrasion during use
  •  A neoprene waistband with unobtrusive backwards-facing adjustable flaps
  • A zip pocket positioned and angled on the lower right side for easy access while wearing a buoyancy aid - perfect for the essentials that have to go out on the water with you. 

The Pro Dinghy Trousers have been designed with a high-fit chest and back for greater protection from wind and water. Abrasion-resistant reinforcement fabric on the seat and knees protect the garment from abrasion against the deck. The hem is shaped to prevent it being caught when hiking out.

Made using a fully seam sealed 2 layer, 2 Dot™ laminated fabric with a durable water repellent finish, the Pro Dinghy Trouser and Salopettes are highly breathable, with low noise and a soft feel.


Pro Women's Salopettes are designed specifically for Women. It has a more flattering line, while incorporating all of the technical features of the unisex product.
